There’s an adventure for everyone, whether you’re a craft enthusiast, livestock breeder, grain grower, horse rider, baker, horticulturist or thrill seeker, with patrons coming from across Australia to visit and participate in the large and competitive sections.
The main arena schedule is packed with exciting shows from motorbike daredevils Showtime FMX, Trackskill Ford vs. Holden and everyone’s returning favourite, Isuzu’s Team D-MAX. Patrons will be treated to new displays from Australia’s Federation Guard and the New South Wales Mounted Police, and a brand new fireworks display on Friday and Saturday night.
The show is proud to announce the launch of Heritage Park, a special display of machinery and demonstrations of the way things used to be made from experts who still practice the crafts of wood bodging and turning, wool spinning and blacksmithing.
There’s plenty of free entertainment to enjoy around the grounds. Meet a wedge tailed eagle, a barn owl or a blue and gold macaw at Feathered Friends and make sure you catch the woodchop, the live music at ActewAGL alley and stop by the Four Seasons Fashion Parade – you might even see the Brazilian dancers!
Bring the family and try the fresh, healthy produce in the Harvest Hall, or treat yourself to a traditional dagwood dog and some fairy floss. There’s plenty for the little kids to do with games, rides, showbags, an animal nursery, a milking bar and free entertainment, and thrilling rides for big kids of all ages.
Visitors can save on entry and rides by purchasing pre sale tickets and ride coupons, available in the ActewAGL assist store in Civic, the ActewAGL Energy store in Fyshwick and online through Ticketek.
